Stenson Claims his first Major and Callaway get their second of 2016
So it came down to the final round with two heavyweights going head to head over the links of Troon. For me, this final round has to go down as one of the best of all time.
What a cracking four days and as always, the standard just seems to keep evolving. There was a time when a Tiger-free golf was a scenario which prompted uncomfortable questions but this new breed of champion certainly seems to know how to turn it on.
It was a top 2 for Callaway too as they go from strength to strength with their current product range.
Stenson: What's in the bag to win The Open?
Driver: Callaway XR 16 (Oban Tour Kiyoshi 60X shaft), 9 Degrees
3-wood: Callaway Diablo Octane Tour (Grafalloy Blue X shaft), 13 Degrees
Irons: Callaway Legacy Black (2-PW; Nippon Pro Modus3 120X shafts)
Wedges: Callaway MD3 Milled (52, 58 degrees; Nippon Pro Modus3 120X shafts)
Putter: Odyssey White Hot XG #7H
