£50 Trolley Trade-in Promotion starts this weekend.

I am delighted to announce our biggest ever electric consumer Sales Promotion which starts this weekend. Between Friday 20th April and Saturday 30th June 2018, you are able to trade-in any old electric trolley for £50 against a new Motocaddy Lithium trolley.

We all know there are lots of golfers using very old electric trolleys. This is the ideal time to treat yourself to a shiny new trolley while being lucky enough to receive £50 for the rusty old one! The trade in trolley can be any brand, any age, any model and any condition - it doesn’t even need to be working. Not only that, but we’ll also ensure that the old trolley is responsibly recycled by our specialist recycling partner. So as well as enjoying a £50 discount, you can relax in the knowledge that the old trolley is not going to landfill or damaging our environment.

How does the customer make a claim?

Our £50 Trolley Trade-in promotion is an industry first and is very simple for the customer. Pick your new Motocaddy Lithium trolley. Register the warranty on the Motocaddy website and submit a Trade-in claim.
Once Motocaddy have verified the claim, we will email a free UPS shipping label.

The customer then needs to put their old trolley in a box (without a battery), stick the label on the box and drop it off at their local UPS Access Point, of which there are more than 3,000 across the UK. Once we’ve received the old trolley, we will make a payment of £50 directly into the customer’s bank account.

At long last

The past week saw many of you dust off your clubs and join us for a game of golf as we all tried to make the most of the unseasonably hot weather (was it too hot?). We’re keen for this not to be a one-off adventure for you so we thought we’d try to lure you back by telling you what’s happening here at the club.

To begin with, we have plenty of fresh new product sitting in the shop with your name on it. It’s also worth remembering that if there is a specific product that you’re after that we don’t stock in-store, we will be able to source this for you in a matter of days, in most cases, and for a great price. Just come and speak to us in-store and we'll be more than happy to help.

Alongside the latest and greatest we’ve decided to run a few new season offers so that you can be fully prepared for the months ahead. Talking of which, our competitions are up and running with fields getting bigger with every passing month. Urethane cover? So what...

A common phrase we hear here in the shop is: “It’s round and white, it can’t be that different”. The truth is that every single golf ball is unique in some way – whether it’s the ball’s core, layers or dimple pattern – but there is one thing that all premium balls have in common…

Try Urethane with the Z-Star and Z-Star XV
Like all tour-level golf balls, the Srixon Z-Star and Z-Star XV boast a Urethane cover, which sets the bar for cover materials.

Urethane – a soft and flexible polymer – will give you the highest possible spin rates combined with the best feel; benefits you will really notice when hitting chip and pitch shots.

However, if you like to play lower flighted chip-and-runs you might prefer other options in Srixon’s range that are made with Ionomer covers. While this type of cover doesn’t generate as much spin, it is slightly more durable and offers a cheaper alternative.

As you can see on these 50-yard pitch shots, the extra spin from the Urethane cover ball on the right helps it to stop much quicker than the Ionomer cover ball on the left, which rolls out on landing.

If you’re the type of golfer who likes to hit lots of open-faced chip and lob shots, TaylorMade’s latest addition to the wedge range is the perfect option for you.
