Ryder Cup Victory
How would you fancy teeing off from here??? NERVOUS!!!
I shall be in a few weeks time with 3 PGC members. Watching the Ryder cup got the better of us and we decided to book a visit to Gleneagles and play the Ryder Cup course.
Whereas Mcginley and his men formed a united front to defeat the yanks again, it soon became clear that all was not rosey in Team USA. Not long after the final putt was holed and Europe kept the Ryder Cup, Phil Mickleson started picking holes in Captain Watson's strategy.
In my opinion this is totally uncalled for and shows a distinct lack of respect for Watson but I did wonder if a man who was last involved in Ryder cup matches 21 years ago could deliver the winning the formula for the USA.

Night Golf Event
I have been contacted by Mark from Night Golf regarding us hosting another event. Using LED golf balls, LED Markers, flags etc we play a team event over a 5 hole course.

A Driver Fitting - Fact or Myth?
Many golfers who have played the game for numerous years and new starters often ask the question whether a driver fitting will actually improve their driving - offering more distance and accuracy off the tee.
Well, I put this theory to the test using the Flightscope ball tracking device to gather the important data needed to see the results.

A Clear Winner My new Callaway Alpha driver is the stand out winner offering on average (over 15 balls) 18 Yards Carry further distance.
A combination of things allowed me to do this but the TWO critical factors are: Spin Rate & Loft
With my new driver I have lofted up going to a Driver which has 10 degrees of loft but an option on the Callaway Alpha Driver - gravity core allows me to place more weight in the roof of the head offer give less spin to the golf ball, resulting in more forward momentum and ultimately greater distance.

We also have a facility to convert those old clubs that are sat in your locker or garage into money. Providing these clubs are a reputable brand and not too old we can move them on for you and convert them into funds that will be applied to your customer account in the pro shop for you to spend at you convenience.
