The week we've all been waiting for has arrived! It really has been great to see so many smiling faces at the club over the past few days.

Can you believe it's Masters week (again!) in just a few days? It wasn't too long ago that we sat in awe as Dustin Johnson's remarkable game tamed the unforgiving Augusta National. Who do you think will come out on top next week? Reply to this email with your favourite!

Club news

A busy return to the range

Monday saw the return of golf and it really was great to see all of our freinds back at the club using the driving range and heading out onto the course for the first time in three months.

We saw a record day on the driving range which saw the strongest ball sales in the history of the business. In the last two years the driving range business has delivered excellent performance and provides a strong contribution to club funds. The early sign would suggest this will continue in 2021.

Ready to retail!

Retail offiically opens in twelve days which will hopefully kickstart the pro shop business. For now we are offering our ORDER - COLLECT - PLAY service to allow you to pick up your essentials when you arrive at the club ahead of your next game.

Thank you to those who have supported us thus far. I am very grateful indeed.

Club Fitting is operational as normal and coaching is taking place.

Trade Day - This a date for your diary.

Thursday April 15th - 1pm to 7pm

Simply bring your old or not so old but unwanted clubs to The Academy where the GolfClubs4Cash team will value them and take them off your hands in exchnage for pro shop credit to you account.

What if I can't make the day? - Drop your unwanted club to us in the days running upto the event and we will do everything for you. Please pop a name tag on your equipment when you drop them off.

Major season kicks off this week

European golf fans, cover your eyes! The WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play was not pretty viewing for Padraig Harrington & Co. as the States dominated, with Billy Horschel defeating Scottie Scheffler in a scrappy final. Who can blame them considering it was their 7th match in just four days!

The Major Championship season kicks off this week as the world’s best lady golfers head to California for the ANA Inspiration. Last year’s tournament saw Mirim Lee shock everyone with a comeback win including two chip-ins, an 18th-hole eagle and a three-way playoff! A host of the game’s stars, including the Korda sisters (Nelly & Jess), Lexi Thompson and Danielle Kang have all been in fine form this year. It’s destined to be a cracker!

Hopefully, it won't be long before you're teeing up in major club competitions once again so why not book yourself in for a lesson or two to sharpen up your game?

Staying grounded this season

You quite literally want to stay grounded as you play golf this year. I’m not expecting you to float away like a balloon, but without the right footwear there is a chance that your ball will.
