Captain's Charity Dinner and Lora Fairclough 

Our Captain John had a successful fund raising evening last week and Lora was on stage delivering a talk about her life on tour and golf experiences. A great night was had by all!

A few words from Lora 

"It was a great privilege to speak at the Captains Charity Dinner on Friday and well done to one and all on raising such an outstanding amount of money.

For the gentlemen who were there, don't forget to take up the challenge and book your lesson for half price before Christmas. In fact, I'm opening this offer up to the whole male membership, book a lesson before Christmas and pay half the normal fee. As mentioned on Friday night, I don't bite. Stephen Crake has already taken up this offer, had his first lesson and he's survived to tell the tale! In fact he's booked his next lesson too!"

Lora is running a 'Roll Up' session on Wednesday's 2pm to 3pm, open to Ladies and Gents. There is no need to book onto this, just pitch up. £7 (not including balls). These sessions are a great way to get a 10 minute check up. Come along and have some fun and learn.

Ladies 'On course' 9 hole play, observation and feedback in the clubhouse will commence on Tuesday the 3rd November. Approx time 10.30 am. The next one is on the 24th November at the same time. Maximum numbers are 9 and cost is £12.

Our Cleveland Wedge fitting day was a great success! - If You missed out but would like to benefit from a free wedge fitting spaeak to a member of staff.

Product Information - GMax - This iron is a winner!

During the last week, I have been busy carrying out iron fittings for our members, and once again this PING GMax iron has been a winner! 8 out of 10 club fittings I deliver are required to deliver enhanced playability and distance. 

That is what our golfers want!

Roy wanted to test a range of irons because he was looking for enhanced playability and performance and look what we achieved.

What difference did the club make? - The PING GMax Iron is a fast face, high ball speed iron and this increased the speed that the ball left the club face by circa 10mph. 

What difference did the Professional make? - Note the increase in club head speed, an 11mph increase coming from my advice.
