Professional Christmas Draw Time 

The Professionals Christmas draw board is now ready. We have 200 squares to sell and fill the board. This will create a £1,000 prize pot and the winners will be drawn on the club draw and quiz evening in December. So, don't forget to get your square and get the chance to win some fantastic prizes. The previous two winners of the draw have received a custom fitted set of irons.

Event No1 of Professional's Winter series/league

The winter series got under way last weekend with an individual stableford. 17 hardy competitors joined the competition which was played in some very difficult conditions! 

Winner - Nigel Taylor (receives a one shot handicap reduction for the pro winter series) 
Runner up - Andy Simpson 
Third - Neil Murphy 

All scores, league table and prize values are posted on the members section of the club website. Next event is a 4BBB on Saturday, 21 November. Please help to make this series a success by playing in the events. With all of the entry money being paid back in prizes it's a great chance to win some good prizes. If you play very early but want to play in the comp, just let us know the day before, collect a scorecard and pay when you come in.

Annual Prize Presentation Evening

On Saturday I attended the presentation evening and had a fantastic evening. It was great to see the room so full of members family and friends. 2015 has seen many winners and congratulations to you all. 

However I would like to make a special mention to the following -

Emily Stammers who won The Adam Scott Trophy, the first female winner who was also announced as the 2016 Junior Captain. 

Harry Tierney, another junior showing fantastic promise who reduced his handicap from 16 to 5 this season. 

And finally, Joe Walmsley who  collected no less than six titles in 2015. A great night was had by all!
